Tawanda Shannon-Vernon is a native of Richmond, VA. In 2001, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Hampton University graduating in the top ten percent of her class. In 2003, she also earned a master’s of fine arts degree in Design & Technology with a concentration in Multimedia from Parsons School of Design.
Shannon-Vernon has always been an artist. She loves merging fine arts with digital arts and technology.
Shannon-Vernon’s work experience has involved a great deal of organization, discipline, and responsibility. More specifically, she has designed materials for Ogilvy PR Worldwide, Microgravity of NASA, FDAnews, Federal Trade Commission, U.S. Department of State and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. In addition, her active leadership and service roles have also helped to develop strong interpersonal and communication skills.
